Kids are becoming more in need of a mental break as much parents and adults. This yoga practice will give them an opportunity to take a break from school work, television, video games, and other competitive activities. This will provide a space for kids to have downtime with stillness in the mind and body. It will help them to be focused and feel fierce. They will learn that everyone can fall and everyone gets up and tries again. In this class there is no competition and everyone moves at their own pace. They will learn to move with the breath and to be still which is challenging in itself. Yoga takes time to help kids to focus on one task at a time. This class will influence a positive effect on their mental state and will influence emotion and behaviours. Yoga will teach them patience and how to calm their minds and bodies if ever they feel anxious and overwhelmed. Let’s not forget that they will gain strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. This class will provide giggles, and fun.
