What is Hot Yoga? Hot Yoga simply means yoga poses performed in a heated environment to boost the heart rate and metabolism while warming the muscles and joints. Our classes are all heated, from a mild 75 degrees to 90 degrees for our power classes.

What if I’m not flexible? This is the most common misconception that prevents people from coming to yoga. Yoga is about strengthening your body and mind, not about flexibility.

What should I bring to class? Please bring a yoga mat, a bottle of water and a towel for your mat. If you are showering after class bring another towel. Mats are available for rental ($2) and bottles of water are available for purchase ($1).

How should I prepare? Drink lots of water during the day and try not to eat a big meal prior to class.

Is there parking? Yes! Plenty of free parking.

What else do I need to know? Please try to arrive 15 minutes prior to class and observe silence in the studio. Please, no cell phones in the yoga studio. Please abstain from wearing perfume as the hot temperature amplifies odours.

How much should I practice? As much as possible!! Practicing 1-2 times a week will make you feel good, 3-4 times a week – physical, mental and spiritual changes will begin to happen at a quicker rate.
