I am a graduate of the 200HR YTT and Pre-natal TT at Glow Yoga. As a life long learner, I felt a natural pull to move into teaching yoga after practicing for over 10 years. After visiting Glow for the first time, I knew this is where I was meant to be, at this beautiful studio learning from amazing teachers. Doing the YTT program helped to push me out of my comfort zone, and take my yoga practice to another level. It was such an amazing and life-changing experience!
Outside of my yoga life, I am a recent Centennial College graduate in the Workplace Wellness and Health Promotion program. I worked in a corporate sales setting for over 10 years, and I knew it was time to move on and start a career doing something I loved that was health and wellness based. After having not been in school for 10 years, I quit my job and became a full-time student again.
I am also a runner and an enthusiastic CrossFit-er, balancing the calmness and mindfulness of yoga with a more intense weight lifting regime. In my spare time I love hanging out with my beautiful, funny girlfriend, travelling as much as possible, being outdoors, and making delicious vegan food.
Tricia has been practicing yoga for 25 years and completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Glow. “I was initially drawn to yoga like so many other people, to become more flexible, manage my stress and to stretch out my sore muscles from working out at the gym and playing golf. My yoga practice has adapted and changed along with me as I have aged and proves that yoga can be practiced, enjoyed and beneficial for a lifetime. Yoga has helped me cope with emotional and physical changes and has made me more present and calm. It feeds and replenishes my mind, body and spirit and I became a teacher to help others”. In addition to completing Glow Illuminated 200hr teacher training, Tricia has taken many workshops over the years with inspirational teachers such as Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman-Yee, Rod Stryker, Ashley Turner, Diane Bruni, Seane Corn, Leslie Kaminoff, Natasha Rizopoulos and Travis Eliot.
Tricia teaches beginners and offers workshops geared to ages 40+. In addition to teaching at Glow, Tricia teaches corporate yoga at her downtown Toronto office in the financial district. These classes are specifically designed to help people who work in an office to manage their stress and their repetitive strain issues associated with sitting at a desk in front of a computer & other technology for long periods of time.
“It does not matter whether you have done yoga before or not, just come as you are, it is never too late to start”.

Nicole began practicing yoga purely for the physical work out. Within little time Nicole realized the effect that yoga has on her not only physically, but mentally. With each yoga class Nicole took she began to notice how she would shut off the little voice in her head filled with limiting beliefs and dedicate an hour to release anything holding her back; both on and off her mat. With time yoga became her outlet to reflect both physically and mentally.
Once Nicole completed her 200-hour YTT program she was left with a new perspective of how she viewed life and those around her. Nicole’s goal is to try and inspire her student to leave every class a little bit lighter from when they first walked in. She hopes to share her passion for yoga with others and help them find mind, body and spirit connection.
Certified Mat Pilates Instructor and Integrated Movement Therapist – Body Harmonics & Second Wind (Pure Pilates)
YIN Yoga Certified

Reiki Level II Certified
Fascination of healing the physical body through mindful, fluid motion led me to study Pilates and Yoga. I was inspired to be an instructor after my first Pilates class in 2007. I will never forget the relief I felt to my hips and back after using thera-bands. My journey as an instructor continues to grow each day as I engulf in reading, training and observing on a daily basis. The integration of both Yoga and Pilates has been a wonderful blessing. I am inspired by the simple things in life such as nature and stillness to provide an optimal, mindful experience to my students.
You can expect to experience how to integrate appropriate breathing techniques to enhance your practice. Whether I am teaching Pilates or Yoga, my classes reflect a sense of calm using a beautiful selection of music, essential oils and a soothing voice. I look forward to teaching each class at this beautiful studio amongst the trees, birds and the healing sound of water. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you! I hope you enjoy my classes as much as I enjoy teaching them!
As a professional ballet and modern dancer for over 17 years, Eden found yoga as a way to heal her body from many previous physical injuries only to fall in love with the practice! Expecting just a physical workout that included the flexibility she wanted to keep but instead discovered a full mind and body experience. She truly believes that helping others find movement and strength within their own bodies is her calling, and that yoga truly has the ability to transform one’s life; as it did to her.
She found the Yoga Teacher Training program at Glow with Carol, Cheryl and Michelle, and has since found her new
home within the studio and amazing staff surrounding it, being a recent graduate of the 200hr YTT. Her classes are rigorous and creative, while keeping the traditional Vinyasa flow (a faster paced yoga practice, intent on igniting
heat and passion within the body) a forefront.
Eden is working her way towards the acro yoga and nutrition field as well, and cannot
wait to see what else her journey has in store!
I started practising yoga over 6 years ago mainly out of curiosity in response to something that was pushing me to “try it”. I went with little expectation other than the hopes of a sweaty workout, and what I left with was a newfound perspective on how I view myself and my life. Practicing yoga literally changed my path in life. One that has led me to trust my intuition, believe in myself and ultimately let go of all of the things that don’t serve me or my purpose in life. I think this is what lead me to want to teach – to help pass along and guide this change in others.
From the moment I arrived at Glow, I knew that there was something so incredibly different and inspiring about it, and I immediately wanted to be a part of it. As a graduate of the Illuminated Teacher program at Glow, I think I bring a lightness in my style of teaching. Realizing that we all come to our mats with different things we are working on, my goal is to have you feeling better than when you arrived. By helping you realize that whatever it is that you are searching for or need – it’s already in you-you just need the space to realize it.

Yoga has changed my life. When I started coming to my mat, I thought of yoga purely as a sport and a physical workout. I was always trying to master my poses by stretching myself beyond my limit. By letting go of my ego, practicing mediation and always coming to my mat regularly, I soon realized that it wasn’t a sport or a physical workout; it was much deeper than that for me. It was a beautiful life philosophy, a way of living that was quite quickly opening my heart to more compassion, authenticity and a deeper connection to myself. Yoga has helped me move past my fears and the resistance I had to uncover the beauty of my true self. Of course the physical benefits are countless, including strength and flexibility, however it has taught me to calm my mind, allowing me to focus on what truly is important in my life, how to be more compassionate and caring to myself and to the world around me. Yoga is my way of life.
Teaching yoga stokes an inner fire in me that is continuously growing. It’s not about the money, the power or the fame. It’s not about getting rich or owning a business, it’s about my students, young or old. It’s about creating a community of like-minded students and friends. To be able to teach yoga and guide individuals on the yogic path makes being a yoga teacher one of the noblest professions there is. I seek to inspire and help my students to realize the limitless potential that already resides in them.
Believing and trusting in the true potential of this practice brings me a sense of ease and peace knowing that I am exactly where I should be, doing exactly what I am doing, teaching yoga and following my dharma.

RYT 400+, certified prenatal yoga, certified pilates instructor, previous Lululemon Run Ambassador
I stumbled into a yoga class, almost quite literally, after having to retire from judo. I was plagued with injuries, the main one leading me to have reconstructive jaw surgery in 2000 to repair the damage from over 10 years of grappling. I was beyond devastated! Not knowing where to go next, I figured I would give yoga a try. I was amazed at how this gentle practice could challenge me both mentally and physically! I found myself wanting to learn more and deepen my own personal practice, which lead to the completion of my RYT200 hatha certification and then furthering my studies with RYT200 vinyasa certification. I have had the pleasure to attend various workshops with incredible teachers such as Ray Long, Natasha Rizopoulos, Danny Paradise, Susi Hately, David Good, Rod Stryker, Margot McKinnon and Sarah Powers just to name a few! The best part is, I am always a student so feel like I’m just getting started!
Yoga has changed me in so many ways! It has guided me, nurtured me and allowed me to grow into a much more grounded and positive being! I am so happy to have found my bliss with yoga and am excited to share it with all of you!
the light in me appreciates and acknowledges the light in you..
